Silicone Hoses

At Moreland Hose we stock a large selection of Silicone hoses. Silicone hoses are a significant upgrade versus standard rubber hose due to its substantially higher temperature rating (-65*F to +350*F).  Silicone is resistant to hardening, cracking, sunlight, moisture, steam, dust, aging, various pressure ranges, and many chemicals too. Additional advantages of Silicone are: easier installation vs. ridged pipe, is not subject to corrosion, stress or cracking and absorbs engine movement and vibration.  Furthermore, silicone is resilient to hostile environments and damaging elements staying strong yet flexible with long service life setting silicone products above the rest.  (Note:  When using silicone coolant or heater hose, make sure to use the proper clamps.  Normal gear drive slotted clamps will cut through the softer silicone material.)
